With a construction background that began as a carpenter and cabinetmaker, Eric has progressed from the trades through supervision and management and into the safety profession. Eric's 20+ years of construction safety experience, as well as a background working in the construction field, has allowed Safe Construction Consulting to understand that a construction firm must be able to complete the project, while not endangering the lives of their personnel. In addition to his construction background, J. Eric Stephan has spent the last 30 years as a Reserve Deputy with the Travis County Sheriff's Office, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant.

Jack brings 32+ years of petrochemical and plant safety experience to Safe Construction Consulting. He started in the safety industry after leaving the Navy in 1975. He was hired by Brown & Root for an Arco project in Houston. After leaving Brown & Root, Jack went to work for S & B Engineers and Constructors, working in facilities throughout the Houston area. Jack previous position was with Altair-Strickland at the BP Texas City project. Following the BP Texas city explosion, Jack took a short sabbatical and built a new home in Austin. Soon afterwards Jack went to work for Safe Construction Consulting. Jack is also a licensed Texas Private Investigator for a firm located in Houston, TX.

George joined Safe Construction Consulting after retiring from a 25 year career with the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. He serves as our English/Spanish trainer and also conducts inspections and audits of both construction and general industry work sites.
